I Hired My First Outsourcer Today

For some time I’ve been thinking about hiring someone from the philippines to help me with my online business.

I was hesitating because I was debating whether or not I really can afford to do this and maybe I won’t have enough work for them to do. Well, as you know I’m in Alex Jeffreys coaching course and it has been really terrific.

About 3 weeks ago Alex had a special guest on his weekly monday night training. We were introduced to John Jonas,  the owner of ReplaceMyself.com He showed us  why and when  outsourcing makes sense and why you can’t afford not to hire someone to help you in your business. There  comes  a point in your business, where you become less productive because you end up spending hours on the computer working in your business instead of working on your business! This can easily become much more work than a typical 9-5  job.

What do I mean by working ON your business exactly? Well……

spending hours online doing those small tasks that don’t leverage your core competency and therefore detracting from up your creative building time!

Well, I saw the benefits and decided it was time for me to jump in ad give it a try. I found a young women from the philippines that has computer and writing skills. I’m paying her $150/ month for part-time.

I’m really quite excited about the new possibilities this opens up for me and I’m positive I will become much more productive in my business because of this. I will have more time to concentrate on expanding my business rather than doing all the nitty gritty details that someone else can easily do!

I will write more on the progress and how this is helping me take my online business to the next level.

If you would like to find out more about hiring outsourcers I highly recommend you check out John Jonas site at ReplaceMyself.com He in a pioneer and true expert in making outsourcing a pleasant and productive experience.

I’d love to hear your feedback on this, so please leave me a comment on this post.

    Hi Brocha

Well done, you’ve obviously given it much thought since the webinar, I’m pretty much sold on the idea too but I won’t be making the jump until after my 2 week holiday at the begining of next month.

So yes, I’ll be really interested in hearing all about your progress with your new employee.

    Regards

    Ken

It’s something I have been toying with for a while too. While there is too much for me to do I don’t know if I have enough to keep a VA occupied part time. How many hours will she work ?

Hope it works out for you and I look forward to hearing more.

    Hey Brocha,

Congratulation on your 1st step towards freedom.
I have no problem with the idea of out sourcing.
The thing is on what kind of work and the cost issues. I
have also a hard time figuring out the organizing of the outsourced work.
I really look forward for you to share more about your experience. I wish I can kind of shorten my learning curve from you.
    Thanks again.
    Cheers

    Hi Brocha,

I started outsourcing a few months ago and it has freed up so much time. Allowing me to be more creative. Finding out your strengths and weaknesses is important to your online success. Any area that your weak in, should be outsourced.

I will not leave a link here, out of respect. I hate that when people do that to me. However I have discovered a brilliant place to find outsourcers from the Phillipines. It will not cost anything to join or use the site. I am not affiliated in anyway. Its just a site that I came across when I first started to look for ways to outsource work.
If your interested, leave a comment on my blog saying so, and I will send you the link.

    Hi Brocha

I have seen you name in the chat room but not all the time. I would love to outsource some of my work but I just want to be a little further down the track.

In case you don’t know a lot about me….

A little about me – My name is Sue McDonald and I am a student of Mark Terrell and I am actually going through the course a second time – by invitation. I love it and know if I do all he says, I will be successful. I am Australian but the US is my second home as I have family there and visit quite often. This is why I started Internet Marketing so I can travel whenever I want and have the money to do what I want.

Well I hope you are doing well and you become very successful. I would love you to come visit my blog and leave a comment.

    Kind regards

    Hey Brocha

I have just come for a visit to your site. How are you going?

Yes it’s Mark and I am following my students as they post on other peoples blogs. They don’t know that I am always checking to see they are getting results. I am passionate about helping them achieve and then they are able to make some money online exactly the same as I am doing. It is not really difficult as long as they are willing to put in the effort.

Always pleasing if I can see some of my students have posted comments.

    Hi Brocha

How are you and how’s it all going, do you have an update on your outsourcing, it’s been 6 weeks or so since you “took the plunge”.
I’d love to know how it’s all working out for you.
Also, I caught the video on your Facebook page, well done, it came across really well – although I’d sack the builders for making the clanking background noise near the end – LOL.

    All the best
